Focus for 2011-12

Since Aspire was established in 2009, we have focused on establishing administrative and management processes and on creating a stable infrastructure to enable financial giving. We have actively encouraged participation and support in both financial and expertise terms from our industry.

A key objective has been to broaden the reach and scope of Aspire through partnership, tapping into established charities and working with them to offer opportunities that will benefit a broader base of applicants. Our goals for fundraising are to encourage regular giving from the CILT membership base (both in the UK and internationally), identify opportunities for one off gifts and fundraising and also explore donations from other foundations.

In 2011 we launched new branding and have stepped up communications about the awards on offer via the media and at industry events with the aim of generating interest and applications. Ultimately we want to ensure that the awards on offer go to those who can deliver exceptional benefit to our industry in years to come.
