We are a group of 15 candidates on a Leadership Development Programme (LDP), working for Wincanton.

How will the Wincanton 15 support Aspire?

In the current climate, we realise that we are in a fortunate position to receive further development. Our aim is to use and share the tools and skills we have learnt on the LDP.

As Graeme Mcfaull is the president of CILT until May 2010, we decided to support him in his vision to increase membership of the CILT and also promote Wincanton.

On December 4th, we attended the CILT fellow's lunch, in order to raise awareness of Aspire and promote the upcoming "Wincanton 15" events. The Wincanton 15 representatives helped raise just over £1,900 during this event for Aspire, which was deemed as a fantastic achievement.

We are planning 4 fundraising events which should both raise the profile of Aspire and develop us as LDP candidates. These events are:

Football tournament 5x5

Sending a parcel around the extended Wincanton network (Group wide)

Auction the front cover & 2 page article in FOCUS magazine

Golf tournament
