Who we are?

Aspire is the Careers foundation within CILT, The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport is the professional body for everyone in the logistics, passenger transport, transport planning and related industries and is dedicated to supporting, developing and representing all specialisms at all stages of career development. Membership of CILT, which is represented in more than 30 countries across the world, gives you the tools you need to realise your ambitions and progress throughout your career, by keeping you informed of the latest news and information as well as by providing comprehensive opportunities for continuous professional development. Aspire aim is to provide financial help to individuals who may not otherwise have access to exceptional training and development opportunities without external assistance.

Who can benefit?

People of all ages and all nationalities throughout the CILT global community can apply for help with their career development aspirations. Globally, CILT has around 33,000 members whose skills and professional competence are fundamental to the success of transport and supply systems around the world.

How will it work?

We have formed a fund raising team who are approaching companies, members, high net worth individuals in the industry, to raise charitable donations which are managed by CILT Trustees. An awards panel has also been created which allocates funds to deserving individuals who would otherwise not have the financial support for personal development, educational and learning projects.
